Who is JAY Photographic Images?

I’m Jonty, born in North Wales, but I spent most of my working life in the South East.  Now living on the Welsh/English borders (on the Welsh side of course!), enjoying being back in the homeland and experiencing country life once again.

Married to the lovely Ela and sharing our rural idyll with two mad, but very loving, English Springer Spaniels, there’s always plenty to keep me busy.

Over the years I’ve worked on marine conservation expeditions, taught scuba diving in the Caribbean, learnt to snowboard, raced yachts and even appeared on Tomorrow’s World! All along I’ve enjoyed mixing up both my technical and artistic skills, combining together to influence the way I enjoy my wedding photography now.

Although everyone can appreciate a beautiful landscape image, it’s capturing the essence of someone that is what excites me most about photography.  Having the opportunity to work with my clients to record those ever so special moments is what I enjoy the best.

When I was looking for our wedding photographer, it was the combination of artistic skill and customer service that I held important to my selection. I carry that through to my clients too.

I want all my clients to know that they are incredibly important to me from the very first time we meet.
