Last week I had a great opportunity to attend the annual Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers convention (SWPP), of which I’m a member. It was a great five days in which I attended a number of special location shoots with some of the worlds best wedding and portrait photographers.
The first shoot I attended was in rooftop, glass roofed, conservatory suite of Hotel 41 with a Texan photographer called Joe Cogliandro. Joe is a top wedding photographer who is all making a great name for himself in the art of boudoir photography, treating his high end clients to his own artistic view of how boudoir should be shot. His eye is not for the cheesy glamour that some people seem to believe should be portrayed as boudoir but something closer to a high fashion shoot for a magazine.
His clients certainly seem to like it and he quickly books up the 20 sessions he allocates per year.
Our model for the day was the lovely Anita De Bauch, who I shot on a course at last years conference, which I wrote about in my article for The Photography Parlour. Anita was a joy to shoot and proved that she can lend herself to many different elements of modelling.
I’ll let the pictures speak about the experience, but it was a great day and I’d like to thank Joe for giving up his time to teach me and the other delegates.

[...] photographers, in some fabulous locations. This year I had the time to fit two of those shoots in, Boudoir with Joe Cogliandro and a wedding photography shoot with Joe [...]
Thanks for sharing, of lovely shots! I really like the large one where she’s laughing on the bed, super natural, sexy and fun
