This time last year my trips up the M6 generally involved snow in copious amounts, causing traffic chaos. Fortunately, 2011 was quite different and despite my initial reservations when it was confirmed that star Mexican wedding photographer Fer Juaristi was coming to the Lake District in early December, we were greeted by clear, but cold conditions and just the snow capped mountains to remind us of what it so might have been.
If you read my interview with Fer, on the Photography Parlour back in April, you will understand how I was bowled over by his humour, kind nature and generosity. So I jumped at the opportunity to spend a full day with him and a great bunch of other photographers in the middle of the Lake District on a cold December day.
We discussed so much over the day, but I thought I’d give a quick preview of some of the shots we took during the session that took place around the training venue.
I’ll post some more in the near future. But in the meantime safe journey home back to your lovely family Fer, and hope to catch you again when your next over in the UK.
